This cool looking electronic mini safe will tell you how much money is stored away inside it and keep a running total as you add more!

It’s a fun saving facility that encourages kids to be responsible with their money and is also an ideal present for anyone who likes to keep track of their loose change.

A clever coin recognition slot can tell exactly how much money you’ve inserted by actually counting the individual coins, it adds up and displays the amount inside.

For extra security, a digital combination lock will make sure that savings stay safe. An extra feature is that it’ll even talk and play tunes as you insert coins! Requires 3 x AAA batteries (not included).

The Jewel Guitar Necklace USB Drive

.

This is one of the rare USB drive necklaces that I didn’t envision some elderly secretary wearing around her neck. This one could almost appeal to the glam rocker type instead of the older crowd. Although it’s definitely not subtle, since it’s yet again covered in crystals, it does at least have a guitar shape to it. It’s yet again attached to a chain so that you can wear it as a necklace and always have it on hand.

One different thing about this is that the cap of the drive is attached to the chain. So you don’t have to take off the necklace to use it. My only issue with that is the concern that over time the drive would stop holding onto the necklace quite as well. Leaving the risk that you might lose the drive along with all the data stored on it. If you think it’s worth the risk though, you will be able to store 2GB of data on the drive. You can purchase it from Gadget4all for $22.

15 Second Pool Water Tester

Look before you leap - that’s one common piece of advice that many have taken for granted. However, with the plethora of diseases and danger assailing the average homo sapiens from all sides, it doesn’t hurt one bit to be extra cautious these days, hence the 15 Second Pool Water Tester.

This is the handheld device that automatically measures your pool’s water conditions within 15 seconds. It removes all the guesswork employed by systems that require you to compare a test result with a reference chart. Dipping one of the 25 included test strips into the water and placing it into the tester delivers a precise reading of the three most commonly tested pool water parameters: free chlorine, pH, and total alkalinity. The easy-to-read LCD provides a clear digital readout of results, indicating if each of the readings are high, low, or within recommended levels–it also stores up to nine previous test results.

Powered by a couple of AA batteries, folks who do a fair bit of traveling while bringing their swimsuit/trunks with them wherever they go might want to consider investing $69.95 by picking this up

Travel Honey GPS functions as a homing device, photo tagger, party favor

The last time we saw a simplified GPS homing device about, we weren't too terribly impressed. Sure, the premise was solid: press one button to lock in the position of your car (or the gold of Dresden), and it will return you to its location after your day at the mall (or after you've successfully evaded capture). But who wants to spend $80 on a glorified key fob? Not us, that's for sure. For a less pricey alternative, you might want to check out a little something called the Travel Honey. Distributed by China Direct, this bad boy not only functions as a stand alone unit, lighting up as you zero in on your target, but it can also connect to your PC via USB for use as a full-blown GPS unit (software not included). And if all that weren't enough, it will also log your various locations in a text file (perfect for keeping track of mileage and geotagging photos). Available now for $53.87.
